We ended our walk through Rome with a visit to St Peter’s Basilica, at The Vatican.

We found an EV charge point tucked away behind security in St Peter’s Square (see photo). It wasn’t open to the public, so perhaps it’s used by the Pope Mobile or the several police cars that patrol the square (fume free – yay!).

Dinner at a nearby restaurant. Then a walk through a few tunnels to try to find the car park.

Charging:

We stopped at some random fast charger along the highway on the way back to our accommodation. We stopped for about ten minutes to top up.
